Return & Refund Policy

We have a 14-day return policy — you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as received — unused, unworn, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need your receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return Contact us at info@mysafaribooks.com to request a return. Please note that items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package to our address in Nairobi, Kenya. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Damages & Issues Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately at info@mysafaribooks.com if your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items The following items cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants, etc.)
  • Custom or personalised products (special orders)
  • Personal care goods (beauty products, etc.)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Sale items
  • Gift cards

Exchanges We do not process direct exchanges. The fastest way to get the item you want is to return your original item (once accepted) and place a new order separately.

European Union — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period If your order is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The same eligibility conditions apply — item must be unused, unworn, with tags, and in original packaging, with proof of purchase.

Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 14 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
